Marine & Aviation constituted Marine Aviation & General (London) Limited Lloyd’s Broker in 1993, as the first Italian company with direct access to the Lloyd’s of London market through one of its subsidiaries.
MAG Limited provides insurance services in the UK and Non-EEA market.
We offer a wide portfolio of insurance products including Industrial, Commercial and Personal lines together with term Life Assurance. We also have specialist expertise in areas such as Casualty, Contingency, Fine Art, Professional Indemnity and Cash in Transit policies. Importantly, we provide professional, credible support to all our clients throughout the entire insurance process.

Ivo Impronta
Executive Vice Chairman
Ivo worked for Marine & Aviation in Naples and moved to London in 1993 as a placing broker for Morgan Read & Coleman. In 1994 he played a key role in establishing Marine Aviation & General in London. In 2006 he was appointed as CEO. Ivo is a Director of Marine & Aviation, MAG SPA and LINK.
He has a degree in Economics from a leading Italian University.
PierLuca Impronta
Vice Chairman
Pierluca began his career working for the family business. He became a marine broker and underwriter at Anslow-Wilson & Amery and Generali in London and had the same role in Italy. In 1989 he became Executive Chairman of Marine & Aviation. In 1993 he was appointed Managing Director of Marine Aviation & General and in 2002 he became the Vice Chairman. He is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MAG JLT Spa, a partnership between Marine & Aviation and JLT. Pierluca has a degree in Economics and Risk Management from a leading Italian university.
Elda Boccia
Head of Placement and a Director of MAG London.
Elda has served MAG London as Head of Placement since January 2016, becoming a Director in 2019.
Elda joined the company in 2007 and throughout her career served in a variety of roles including Public Official and Professional Indemnity Broker and Head of Liability. She managed the placement of some of the company’s largest clients and most important facilities and products. Elda has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Federico II University of Naples and is CII certified.
Alessandro Iobbi
Financial Director
Alessandro joined MAG London in October 2020. Previously employed as a Finance Director for a media company in London and New York, and as a Director for an accounting firm in London. He is a qualified Dottore Commercialista in Italy and ACA qualified in the UK. He is a member of the Ordine Dottori Commercialisti ed Esperti Contabili, Registro Revisori Legali and the ICAEW. He graduated in Economics from Politecnico delle Marche in Ancona, Italy.
